What is Applied Kinesiology?
Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a way of evaluating how your body’s structure, chemistry, and emotions are working together. It’s a diagnostic tool, not a treatment on its own. After using AK to identify what’s out of balance, our practitioners use a variety of therapies, such as chiropractic adjustments, cranial techniques, myofascial or trigger point therapy, acupressure, nutrition counseling, exercise programs, and emotional support techniques to help restore your overall health

What is Functional Medicine? Do I need to leave my primary care doctor?
Not at all! We encourage a combined approach, supporting your health journey alongside your PCP or specialist. Functional medicine looks at how all the systems in your body work together to find and address the root cause of health issues. By using lab tests alongside other evaluations, it helps uncover what’s really driving your symptoms so you can get care that targets the source, not just the surface.

What types of functional medicine lab testing do you offer?

We offer a wide range of testing options, including:

  • Hormonal Panels – to assess thyroid, adrenal, and reproductive hormone function

  • Environmental Toxin Screenings – to detect heavy metals, chemical sensitivities, and mold exposure

  • Comprehensive Health Panels – evaluating nutrient levels, gut health, inflammation markers, immune function, and more

  • Genetic Testing – through My Happy Genes, providing insight into how your unique DNA influences mood, detox pathways, and overall wellness

  • Mold Testing – including nasal swabs, urine, saliva, and home/air sample collections to evaluate mold presence and impact on your health. (Mold testing is the only test done on site.)

I’m new to holistic care. Where do I start?
Begin with a free consultation. We’ll guide you step-by-step and help you feel confident and informed on your wellness journey.
Your first visit after the consultation is when your care officially begins.

To make things easy, complete your intake forms in advance and bring along any medications, supplements, lab results, X-rays, or other items we’ve requested.

How often do I need to come in?
Treatment frequency varies per person, some come in twice a week, others every few months. It depends on your needs.

Do you accept walk-ins? Can I get an adjustment without an evaluation?
Appointments are required. Please book online or contact our staff.
We require a full evaluation first to understand your overall health. The source of pain may be deeper than it seems. Your first appointment includes both assessment and treatment.

What’s your cancellation policy? What if I’m running late?
24-hour notice is required for cancellations. No-shows may be charged the full appointment fee.

Please arrive 5 minutes early. More than 5 minutes late? We may need to reschedule.

Do you offer post-operative massages?

We don’t offer post-operative massages, but we’d love to see you once you’re fully healed and cleared by your surgeon. This is usually around 8–12 weeks after surgery, as long as there’s no swelling, drainage, or tenderness remaining. Your comfort and safety are our top priority.

What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture, a practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, uses very fine needles placed at specific points on the body to help restore balance, improve circulation, activate your body’s natural pain relief, and promote healing in targeted areas. Acupuncture can help people of all ages who are experiencing pain, stress, digestive issues, allergies, or other health concerns.

Do you work with Lyme disease?
Yes, we help patients manage Lyme and other tick-borne illnesses by addressing underlying causes and supporting the body’s healing process.

Do you offer nutrition counseling?
Yes! Nutrition is a key part of holistic care. We also offer it as a standalone service and have a 7-day clean eating meal plan. Download it here.

Can I come even if I’m not sick? Does this really work?
Absolutely! We help people stay well and feel their best—no diagnosis required.

Many of our clients have seen lasting improvements, even after struggling with other treatments. It takes commitment, but it works.
